'No data could be found based on selected criteria' is not an error message. It displays when data for the selected criteria, is not found in the PROMODAG Reports database.
To avoid getting this pop-up, you need to check the following:

Have the message tracking files been imported for the reporting period?

Have the tracking files been imported, and do they contain relevant data for the requested report?

Have the tracking files been imported, and do they have suitable import options for the requested report?

Are you running the detail of Internet traffic report without having imported the Archives of Internet connectors?

Are you running a Flow of Connectors report (see also related article below) ?

Are you trying to run the Mailbox size evolution report after you have have just started a mailboxes sizes import?
NOTE: Do not forget to re-import data (by changing the date of the last import) once you make a change in the import configuration.
