Q10011 - FAQ: How is a message processed when sent to a distribution list/group ?

Information on the email address of the distribution group is only available when the message enters the system (edge server). After that, the distribution group is expanded: the message recipient is no longer the distribution group itself, but each member in the list. So the distribution group has disappeared when we analyze the event upon reception by the mailbox, and each member in the list is associated with the message in the PROMODAG Reports database.

Note:  Each distribution group is resolved to the names of its members when the directory is imported in PROMODAG Reports.
