Q10081 - TIPS: How do I obtain a list of my mailboxes' sizes ?

Note: information contained in this article applies to PROMODAG Reports version 8. The Filter tab was formerly called Criteria.

Question:

I would like to produce a report that would list the size of a group of mailboxes/all mailboxes in my organization.

Answer:

The best solution is to run the Mailbox Storage Information report. You will find it in the Reports > Storage group of reports. Information is dynamically collected through a MAPI connection to the Exchange server.

You will apply the following settings:

  • Selection tab: All organization mailboxes
  • Group tab: Organization, Ascending.
  • Filter tab: N/A.
  • Options tab: As shown below.
  • Content tab: Mailbox.
  • Presentation tab: Style = <None>, Display = Tabular data, Size in MB = MegaBytes.
  • Output tab: Your own choice (Screen, or Disk file).
