What's new in PROMODAG Reports version 8
Main innovations
- Supports Exchange 2007.
- Supports Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 2008 R2.
- Exports to Sharepoint server destination.
- Exports to Web Archive (MHT file) format.
- Support Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 and 3.0.
- CDO is not required anymore so you will not
receive the Outlook security prompt anymore.
- Global rewriting of all messages appearing in the user
Interface.
- Reports were renamed and have more meaningful names.
- Reports have a new Definition tab that explains their purpose.

- You can run a group of reports interactively by manually choosing reports or by

General reports improvements
- All mailbox content reports were rewritten and will run faster without any
annoying prompt.
- You can specify a specific account to access an Exchange server.
- Some bar chart reports let you select day, week, month, quarter or year for the
time interval.
- Previewed reports can be exported to CSV.
- The Selection tab was improved so selection of multiple items is much easier.
- The Selection tab lets you save and load your custom selection so you can use it
for other reports.
- Selection list can be saved and reloaded from reports to reports.
- Global parameter to exclude deleted objects.
- There is a new Partners tab that lets you include or exclude specific Smtp
domains.
- New Partners tab in reports to select and save a list of Internet domains.
- Almost all reports have a group tab for up to 3 levels of grouping with optional
page break, total.
- The Group tab comes with 3 levels with ascending or descending sort order and
optional page break.
- You can have a separate report on export for each group.
- The group name can be part of the exported report name.
- Some reports let you choose sent or/and received messages as well as the total.
- For all reports that list mailboxes, you can choose to display a particular
attribute rather than the mailbox distinguished name.

- The Mailbox Content report comes with a better user-friendly interface and
includes more selection criteria.
- The Public Folders Content report comes with a better user-friendly interface
and includes more selection criteria.
- The Period tab lets you select specific days of the week for the reporting
period.
- The Mailbox Breakdown by Hour of the Day (formerly known as
Hourly Statistics) report has a new Selection tab and can
be ran on a group of mailboxes.
- The Mailbox Breakdown by Daily Traffic (formerly known as
Mailbox Activity) report has a new Selection tab and can
be ran on a group of mailboxes.
- The Message Size Breakdown report has a new Selection tab and can be ran on a
group of mailboxes.
- The Message Breakdown by Number of Recipients report has a new Selection tab and
can be ran on a group of mailboxes.
- The Message Breakdown by Day of the Week (formerly known as
Weekly Statistics) report has a new Selection tab and can
be ran on a group of mailboxes.
- The Information Store Size Evolution report has a new interval (days, weeks,
months, quarters, years) option.
- The Partners by Traffic Level (formerly known as Partner
Traffic) report has a new graph display.
Import improvements
- When importing message tracking files you can specify the account to use.
- When importing storage size you can specify the account to use.
- Message tracking files can be imported from more than one console (Enterprise
edition). This will speed up the import for organizations with over-sized
message tracking files.
- Message Id consolidation during Message tracking files import is no more
required if Exchange 5.5 is not detected.
- IMF (Microsoft Intelligent Message Filter) events are imported
- Non Delivery Receipt events are imported.
- For relevant events, the IP address and the partner host name are imported.
- Mailbox count by Information Store.
- Public Folders size.
- Import of size and free space for Exchange server drives.
