Requirements for PROMODAG Reports

PROMODAG Reports must be installed on a workstation and not on a Microsoft Exchange server.

Workstation requirements:

A 2 Ghz Intel Pentium Processor.
512 MB of system memory.
Enough disk space to store the database.
Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2, 2003 SP2, Vista SP1.
Microsoft Outlook 2000, XP SP1, 2003, 2007 in order to install MAPI.
A valid MAPI profile to connect to your Microsoft Exchange Server.
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 (click here for more information).
MDAC 2.8 (Microsoft Data Access Components).

Note:

Outlook 2007: make sure you select a custom installation in order to install the Outlook MAPI Service Providers components.

XP SP1 is required due to a bug in the initial release that prevents some reports from working.

Optional requirements

Enterprise edition: you need Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (SP3 or SP4) or 2005.

Microsoft Exchange Server requirements

Supported versions of Microsoft Exchange server are: 4, 5.x, 2000, 2003, 2007.
There is nothing to install on the Exchange Server nor to change in the Exchange organization
Promodag Reports need to be installed on a separate machine. However, you must enable message tracking on the Microsoft Exchange server to allow the software to generate reports.
