Requirements for PROMODAG Transfer Agent 1.1

Configuration of PROMODAG Transfer Agent
  • To run PROMODAG Transfer Agent 1.1 you need a Windows workstation connected to the network with Outlook installed and MDAC version 2.5 (Microsoft Data Access Component).
  • Important As both the Satellite and the Central module need to send and receive messages automatically, you need to deactivate the E-Mail security features (see Q290499 in Microsoft Technet).
  • Note With Outlook 2000, XP or 2003 you need to do a custom installation of CDO (Collaboration Data Object).
Mailbox creation
  • Create one mailbox for the Central module.
  • Create one mailbox for each Satellite module.
  • Note A single satellite can handle more than one Exchange server.
Installation
  • First install the Central module then the satellites modules at other locations.
  • Install the programs by following the installation wizard.
Download
  • Download PROMODAG Transfer Agent version 1.1.
