Promodag Reports v14.1 now supports the modern Get-MessageTraceV2 PowerShell command. This upgrade is a game-changer for Office 365 message tracking: you can now retrieve tracking logs for up to 90 days—a huge leap from the previous 10-day window. This enhancement helps organizations meet compliance mandates and perform more comprehensive mail flow analysis.

Rebuilt on .NET 9 for Enhanced Performance and Support

As .NET 6 has reached end-of-life, Promodag Reports now targets.NET 9 framework. This ensures better performance, improved security, and ongoing compatibility with future Windows environments, keeping your reporting solution ready for future developments.

Smarter, More Efficient Permission Imports

The import of mailbox permissions has been optimized for speed and accuracy. Additionally, a new option in the Recipient Delegate Permissions report allows you to import only those permissions that have been modified within a user-definable timeframe. This makes it easier to track recent changes and audit permissions without unnecessary data imports, as the PowerShell commands submitted for that purpose are particularly slow.

Expanded Attribute Support for Deeper Insights

We’ve expanded the range of mailbox attributes you can leverage in reports. MailboxRegion, RetentionPolicy, EmployeeId and EmployeeType are now imported and available as exportable data in the CSV file and Database Table outputs. This enhancement enables more granular, business-aligned reporting, whether you’re segmenting users by region, compliance policies, or HR data.

Faster Recipient Search

Searching for Exchange recipients in the main window is now significantly faster, making it easier to find the users, groups, or mailboxes you are looking for to check their attributes, especially in very large environments.

SharePoint Export Now Focused on SharePoint Online

We’ve streamlined export functionality to focus exclusively on SharePoint Online. This change reflects Microsoft’s own direction and ensures smoother integration and better support for Cloud-first organizations.

End of SQL Server 2008 R2 Support

Consistent with Microsoft’s own lifecycle policies, Promodag Reports v14.1 no longer supports SQL Server 2008 R2. Please ensure your environment is running a supported SQL Server version for continued compatibility and security.
