Promodag Reports Licensing

A Promodag Reports license is designed to cover a single Exchange organization or Office 365 tenant and a specific product edition (Standard, Professional, or Enterprise). The license includes at least one Exchange server for on-premises environments, a specified number of Office 365 user mailboxes for cloud or hybrid environments, and one or more consoles (computers where Promodag Reports is installed).

For Office 365 (cloud-based) environments, licensing is determined by the number of user mailboxes in your Office 365 tenant. If your license covers all user mailboxes, you can report on all mailbox types including User, Shared, Room, and Equipment mailboxes. If your license covers only a subset of mailboxes, you must specifically select which user and other mailbox types to report on.

For on-premises Exchange 2016/2019 environments, licensing is based on the number of Exchange servers. You must license all servers with active databases in a Database Availability Group (DAG). Non-Exchange servers are not considered in the licensing count.

For hybrid environments (both on-premises Exchange and Office 365), licensing is based on both the number of Exchange servers and the number of Office 365 user mailboxes. You need to license both components as appropriate for your specific setup, covering all on-premises servers with active databases and the specified number of Office 365 mailboxes you want to report on.

You need to license the number of consoles (computers) where Promodag Reports is installed, not the number of administrators. For example, if two administrators want to use Promodag Reports from two different workstations to analyze 10 Exchange servers, you need a license for 10 servers and 2 consoles. Multiple administrators can share the same console without additional licensing.
